This is a list of places I like to go.  I've been to almost all of these myself!    The information here is accurate as far as I know (you do know that dogs don't read signs, right?), but please check any links provided for most recent hours, policies, etc.   Email us at webmaster@ocdogworks.com if you know of places near you!

Transportation - The Doggie Bus!!!!

Wondering how to get to the dog park?  The Doggie Bus is one great option!   The Doggie Bus starts in Tustin and makes scheduled stops and regular outings.  Check out their website at www.doggiebus.com to see where they are going this week!

Basic Dog Park Etiquette

  • be up to date on all vaccines and shots (this is required for almost all dog parks)
  • make sure your dog is socialized and gets along with other dogs (and people) before going to the park
  • clean up after your dog
  • keep an eye on your dog - it is your job to protect your dog and others from your dog
  • make sure your dog is calm before you enter the dog park

Other Places to take you dog

your boat (or your friend's boat)
Fashion Island - Newport Beach (dog friendly)
Irvine Spectrum (dog friendly)
Balboa Island - walk around the island (but not on the beach)

your local park - check regulations, many allow dogs as long as they are leashed
